Fort Saskatchewan Author Becomes Amazon Best Seller

Just days after releasing her first book, local author Lana Santana is already an Amazon bestseller.

Santana’s book, ‘Heartache & Lemonade‘ is a poetry collection that she wrote during the COVID-19 lockdowns.

“This anthology exposes some of the feelings so many of us keep hidden, much to our chagrin,” Santana said. “I have attempted thus to allow the reader that bit of catharsis, so that we can confront, suffer or enjoy, and then heal or be happy.”

After her book was released it reached the #1 Best Seller spot in Amazon’s Single Authors Fiction and Religion & Spirituality categories.

“The night before, I am filled with anxiety, fear, nervousness, excitement all bundled up together in one. Then you see Best Seller tagged to your book page. It just blew my mind,” added Santana. “Mind you, this would not have been remotely possible without the support of my friends, fans and family. I would extend my gratitude to them.”

As for what she has planned next, Santana said she’s been working on her first novel, and even a few children’s books. Santana also spends a lot of her time as founder of the Fort Saskatchewan Multicultural Association.

You can purchase ‘Heartache & Lemonade‘ yourself by visiting the store page on Amazon.
