Last night, February 4th, The Midget A rangers were on home ice to host Strathcona Midget 2 team. First period Started with Strathcona seeing the only scoring action ending the period Strathcona leading 2-0. Five minutes into the second period Rangers Baily Laboucane brought the game to within one but Strathcona got a third goal passed Rangers goalie Brennan Hamel to take the lead yet again. Rangers Jimbob Ghostkeeper managed to score in the dying seconds of the period to bring the game to 3-2 heading into the third.

The Third period started the way the second ended with Ghostkeeper getting the puck past the Strathcona goaltender and tied up the game at three. The lead was short lived with Strathcona scoring one but Ranger Baily Laboucane got his second of the game followed by Jaden Sears to take the lead. Strathcona regained the lead with two more goals but with four minutes left in the period Rangers Lee Hjelsvold tied the game at 6-6 and that's how the game ended.

The team is on the road to Smokey Lake tonight, February 5th, and will be in Westlock on Saturday February 6th. The Midget A Rangers currently have a 4-10-4 record.
