Two more teens have been charged following the group assault of an 18-year-old man last Wednesday (Sept.15).
A 17-year-old and a 16-year-old, both residents of Fort Saskatchewan, have each been charged with one count of assault.
Another 16-year-old, who was arrested on the day of the attack, was also charged with assault and for failing to comply with a previous release order last week.
The attack took place around noon near the area of 101 Street and 97 Avenue. A bystander intervened, but the beating continued. The boys soon fled in a small red car while the victim was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The victim is expected to make a full recovery while the three teens are set to appear in court next month.
