Today on the show we had our Student Reporter from Fort High, Sarah Cayer, talk about the upcoming events with the school. Now that school is back you'll hear more of the events and students from all of our schools around Fort Saskatchewan. January becomes a busy month for our high school students because they're preparing for final exams and diplomas.
It can be a very stressful time for students so here's a study tip guide to help prepare for all the finals.
1-Manage Time Appropriately
Meaning, give yourself ample time to prepare for an exam. Don't study last minute.
2-Study in a quiet and well lit area
Studying in front of the TV, isn't the best choice. Go where there's less distractions
3-Attend Class Reviews
Especially if there's a subject you're not sure about.
4-Read Actively, not Passively
When reading a sentence, don't just read it. Make sure you understand it.
5-Study from notes and old assignments
All information can aid in studying.
6-Eat well and rest
A hearty breakfast, lunch and a great sleep and essential in preparing to write and exam.
