The Fort Saskatchewan Multicultural Association recieved a cheque from the Rotary Club on Tuesday as a donation to the organization's rent for their community night potluck as well as to support their women's group.

This is the third year that the Rotary Club has helped out the Fort Saskatchewan Multicultural Association.

Lana Santana, president of the Multicultural Association, expresses her thanks to the Rotary Club,

" We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Rotary Club for believing in this program and how important and integral it is for our newcomers and for helping us build a welcoming and inclusive community and for being able to have faith that the association makes a difference in the community."

Santana also invites the community to attend the Multicultural Association's next community night on November 20. The theme for the night is A Winter's Festival. It is a perfect opportunity to bring family and friends to come out and learn about different cultures through experiencing different cuisine and activities.
