Strathcona County RCMP is investigating a break and enter at the Ardrossan fire hall.

At some point between 9 p.m. on Jun. 23 and 11:30 a.m. on Jun. 27, the Ardrossan fire hall was broken into through the back entrance. 

Police say the thieves stole several pieces of unique firefighting equipment valued at around $36,000.

Items stolen from the fire hall include:

  • Holmatro portable pump
  • Holmatro mini cutter
  • Holmatro telescopic ram
  • Univent chainsaw
  • K-saw

According to police, these items are easily identifiable and are specifically used to fight fires. Anyone with information is asked to contact Strathcona County RCMP.
