The Strathcona County Fire Department have had their hands full.
 
Strathcona County fire crews responded to 37 uncontrolled fires between Friday (May 4) and Monday (May 7).
 
The largest fire was by Range Road 205A and Township Road 542, which started around 2 p.m. on Sunday.
 
"There were a total of 40 Strathcona County emergency personnel on scene. There were four brush trucks, four tankers, one squad, one engine and one UAV on scene," said deputy fire chief Devin Capcara.
 
It took crews until 7:30 p.m. on Monday to extinguish the blaze.
 
There were some campers in the area but no homes were at risk.
