Peekaboo play for babies 12 months and under. Nursery rhymes, bounces, and tickles. Mondays November 2 – 30 (except November 9) from 2 – 3 PM.

Time for Tots for ages 1 – 2 years. Stories, colouring, and playtime. Tuesdays November 3 – 24 (except November 10) from 11 – 11:30 AM OR Thursdays November 5 – 26 (except November 12) from 10 – 10:30 AM.

Alphabet soup for ages 3 – 5 years. Stories, crafts, and letter recognition (letters I-K). Tuesdays November 3 – 24 (except November 10) from 10 – 10:45 AM OR Thursdays November 5 – 26 (except November 12) from 10:45 11:30 AM OR 2 – 2:45 PM.

Duplo Family Drop-In for families with young children. Building families, friendships, and fun in your library! No registration required. Sundays November 1 – 29 from 2 to 4 PM in the program room.

Junior Games Night for ages 5 – 12 (kids under 8 require a parent) on Monday, November 2 from 7 – 8 PM. Come to the library and play board games. No registration required.

Pilipino

Language and Culture Class for ages 3 – 12 on Saturdays November 7

, 14, 21, 28. Ages 3 – 5 from 1 – 2 PM, ages 6 – 12 from 2 – 3 PM. Learn about the Tagalog language and the Pilipino culture. This free program is brought to you by the Kabisig Society of Fort Saskatchewan. To register or for more information, contact Fe at 780-998-3403.

Lego After School for ages 6 – 12. Build creations with Lego. Drop-in. Mondays November 2 – 30 (except November 9) from 3:30 – 4:30 PM in the program room.

International Pen Friends for ages 8 – 17 on Wednesday, November 4 in the teen area from 3:30 – 4:30 PM. Enhance your writing skills and make global friendships. The library will set you up with pen pals from all over the world! The group meets monthly and attendance is not required to be set up with a pen pal.

There is no charge to register but families are responsible for all postage costs. Space is limited; call to register

Junior Lego for ages 5 – 12 on Monday, November 16 in the program room from 7 – 8:30 PM. Kids under 8 require a parent.

 

Minecraft Club for ages 8+ on Tuesdays November 3 and 17 at the computer stations from 6 – 7:30 PM. Show off your Minecraft skills or learn some new tips and tricks. All levels of experience welcome. Call to reserve your computer.

Minecrafting (all ages welcome) on Saturday, November 14 in the teen area from 1 – 3 PM. Make Minecraft come alive, by learning how to make your own Minecraft torch, bookmark, and mask! All supplies are provided.

Junior Book Club for ages 8 – 12 & parents on Monday, November 30 in the program room from 7 – 8 PM. This group meets every month to discuss the books that they are reading. See website for book selection.

Junior Robotics Club for ages 5 – 10 on Saturday, November 21 in the children's area from 3 – 4 PM and Wednesday, November 25 from 6:30 – 7:30 PM. Come out and learn what Dot and Dash can do with music! Call to register

 

Robotics Club for ages 11 – 17 on Wednesday, November 4 in the teen area from 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Learn how to use Lego Mindstorms to make a simple and quick bot and be the first team to beat the maze! All levels of experience welcome. Call to register

 

Teen Takeover: Digital Music with David Larson for ages 12 – 17 on Friday, November 13 from 6 – 8 PM. Learn the ins and outs of digital music creation and recording. Free; drop-in. Food be generously sponsored by the Rotary Club.

Teen Book Club for ages 13 – 18 on Monday, November 23 in the teen area from 7 – 8 PM. Come and discuss your favourite book and make a bookmark worthy to hold your place in it. This club will be meeting monthly. All opinions welcome. Call to register
